I am a monthly contributor for an awesome blog that my friend Katie [who is even more awesome than her blog] recently launched. The following post is one that I had originally planned to write for our family blog but then decided it would be a better fit for “Embracing a Simpler Life.” However I’m still excited to share it on here.
As we move closer and closer toward adoption, I’ve been finding myself reflecting quite a bit on marriage and how being a parent should [and does] impact what our marriage looks like. I guess it’s because I know I’ll need to cling to my convictions that a healthy family is built on the foundation of a healthy marriage even more when our family welcomes another newborn home. There will for sure be a temptation to make everything about the baby and Zoe.

I would love to hear some of your thoughts as well! Also while on Katie’s blog, be sure to take a few minutes to look around. You are sure to find some encouragement, challenging thoughts and good ideas to apply to your daily life…
